Saheli Women is seeking a full-time Fashion Designer to join our team in Jodhpur. This role is ideal for a creative, hands-on designer who wants to combine design innovation with ethical and sustainable production practices in rural India.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Fashion Designer to join our team in Jodhpur, someone who’s detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about design execution. This role requires both creativity and technical precision, from developing design sketches to ensuring smooth coordination across departments and timely sample deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create flat sketches, technical sheets, and specification drawings for client and in-house collections.

  • Coordinate and manage Saheli’s design client requirements, ensuring creative and technical alignment.

  • Maintain and monitor sample development timelines, ensuring on-time delivery for all design projects.

  • Liaise with textile, dyeing, sampling, and embroidery departments to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.

  • Assist in design documentation, follow-ups, and approvals for all client projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Fashion Design or Textile Design.

  • 1–2 years of relevant industry experience.

  • Proficiency in flat sketching and technical drawings (digital or hand).

  • Strong understanding of fabric types, embroidery techniques, and sampling processes.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively across creative and production teams.

  • Hindi and English proficiency.

Contract & Compensation

  • Duration: 1-year full-time contract

  • Location: On-site in Jodhpur

  • Salary: Based on experience
